APR APR MAY MAY MAY MAY MAY MAY Thanksgiving vacat1on.We sure needed this one. Our second six weeks began.May we im- prove. Farley and Manley find themselves l-A First conference game. We beat Norwalk. Flash! Farley d1dn't sleep a wink today. Hillsboro was a victim for the boys again. uRemember Pearl Harborn Loud cracking heard from History class Ho1and's still chewing bubble gum. Physics class stood outside the science room door until Mr.Curran suggested they try the knob. The door was opened. Wilton overtaken by score of 20-36. Junior class play NBel1es in Waltlngn Such hidden talent. The grades present their Operetta. School party and ou-worthy vacation begins. Gee! Santa must have thought we were good. Back to the culture-factory. Ontario really took a whipping, o Westby got tookgand we took 'em, 32-20. Norwalk was defeated again-55-21 Our llth successive victory. Beautiful sundogs. Three days of cold weather. A wild yelp, and Arlene Hundt is seated on another tack. Cashton journeyed to Kendall and won. Ontario boys were taken again. Again we defeated our rival Westby. The first day of the tournament. Cashton won over Melrose in an overtime game. We play Bangor tomorrow night. Bangor beat us. Enough said. Bangor took the championship. Howell Glassblowers entertained us. Placed second in Forensics at Kendall. Some students encountered difficulties . in acquiring excuse slips. Spring fever? Cashton got a NB' rating in the forensic contest in LaCrosse. ' The teachers spent the day at Tomah, and . the students had a vacation. Mr. Curran got an ice cream cone from the girls in Bookkeeping class. Mr. Lee took the band out to the ball diamond to see gow badly they really sounded. No foolin' the uniors' rings came. The much needed Easter vacation. Senior class play. 'Aunt Susie Shoots the WorRs.' Music contest at La Crosse for the solos. The band and glee club went to La Crosse for the music festival. Cfz1!EV7d!dJI First day of school.We're tired as usual, a dance last night. My what Freshmen! Did we look that green? Acquainted with the teachers.Enuf said. one week of labor gone and 55 more to go. Another blue Monday,Physlcs test. A lecture a1ready.How we do change. Girls played kittenball today.Correct1on .....g1rls tried to play kittenball. Religion today.We really are good--at times. Friday night and nobody's slow in vacat- ing the dchool.Could it be home sichness? Seats are changed,but we d1dn't like the old ones anyway. Ball game today.We beat Wilton 4-5. The Viroqua Fair starts and school is less crowded. Ontario played ball today.We lost 9-4. Elected Jim Schwelger as Student Council President. WB1g Betu got rough today those poor little Freshmen. Beat Norwalk 19-4.Havs to admit theln play- ing is good. Teachers are tired.Wedding dance last night. Girls attended school at 'PecksN. Lottie was absent. Class elect1ons,what battles. Boys beat Wilton 3-2.Who possesses the horse shoe? Assembly program. Snakes. Boys lost to Ontario again. Inltiation-- memorable day for the Freshmen. Boys won again. Norwalk. Way the Seniors rush around you'd think they were having screen tests,when the occasion is only having their pictures taken. Six weeks exams. The teachers sure know their stuff. Friday,what a mental relief. Report cards.Al1 that work and what re- sults. Entire school is entertained by C.E. Jones' assembly program. Navy Day program at hall. Elected cheer-leaders.Nook,Teddy, and Lottie. Everyone in physics class so Mr.Curran dismissed us. Halloween tonight. Tom,B1l1y and Tony start for school but are mislead to places more interesting!! Health lecture. Bangor beats us aga1n.We still have hopes. The boys did it ,we beat Viroqua. Luck cont1nues.We won over H1llsboro,Boys got a breif reveiw of football! But definit.
