Stepping into the shoes of the previous class wos not on easy task. Thus, many of the class members entered the lost year of education striving to prove that the closs of '87 wos capable of success in its own right. In many respects they met their goal. The athletes continued to give us winning seasons; the fine arts students continued to produce fine ploys and concerts ond do well in contests. State recognition, conference honors, ond local recognition wos won by many in oil areas, including academics. For these accomplishments, the closs of '87 should be congratulated ond remembered — os the closs who strove to rise among many obstacles to achieve recognition ond success.
