The Seniors Present The 1963 Flame TO THE CLASS OF '63 Iris with a feeling of sadness, but with [wide, that I extend my hand in congratulations as you near the end ofyour high school education. Ihave come to know all of you quite well in the past four years as your sponsor, teacher, and principal, and 1 have the greatest confidence in your ability to become a worthy, successful, and contributing member of society. As you look back over the last twelve years, remember the many hands that have provided the financial means, guidance, and die push necessary for you to build the foundation of education you now have. They are the hands of your parents, teachers, neighbors, ministers, and fellow students. The only way you can repay these people for their efforts is by continually striving to achieve the worthwhile goals you have set before you. These hands will always be waiting to assist you, but they cannot, from now on, carry the burden for you. It Is your hands and the hands of the Great Creator that will determine your success in the future. Mr. Wild man. Principal Dedicate This Flame We are proud to dedicate the 1963 Flame to Mr. Ralph G. Brook. This is just a small token of the appreciation we would like to show for the patience and hard work that he has given. To many, he has been a good friend as well as a teacher. Thanks to his endless efforts, we can be proud of the Casey Music Department. His personality will long be remembered at Casey High. — Faculty ADMINISTRATION Other School Employees — Board of SUPERINTENDENT Fred A. Dale Education D. E. Salute to Askin Our third foreign exchange student, Askin Kut, has shared the 1962-63 school year with Casey High. Askin, from Istanbul, Turkey, has lived with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Goben during his stay in Casey. He is eighteen years old, and will graduate with the class of 1963. We of Casey High will treasure his friendship, and hope he will take fond memories back to Turkey with him. Left to right: George Ormsby, Gordon Davis, Gene Ferguson, Joyce Tingley, Rick Emrich.
