Text from Pages 1 - 88 of the 1960 volume:

Dedication . To one who has long deserved the honor, we wish to dedicate the 1960 FLAME. It is but a humble effort to show our appreciation for her many years of hard work and leadership. Never before has there been anyone who was more worthythan MISS RUTH LINDSEY, and we only wish that there were something even greater that we could do to express our heartfelt thanks to her for helping make Casey High School a better and more outstanding school. STANDING, from left to right: Leland Mullen, Kenneth Smith, Walter Lacey. SEATED: Bruce Geffs, Edward Resch, Fenton Beabout, Eugene Johnson. Experience has established within me an ever abiding faith in the honesty and the integrity and the ability of our boys and girls. They are our greatest asset. Homes, churches, and schools must work together to protect, to nurture and to prepare them to live in a complex and ever changing world of tomorrow. Troy S. Pierce Superintendent TOP ROW: Mrs. Davis, Mrs. Hawker, Miss Gardner It has been a tradition of Casey High School for many years that the senior class sponsor the FLAME. This year's seniors have captured in the following pages the spirit of our school and school life. They have spent many long hours of labor to produce this book which everyone of us can relive in the years to come as we thumb through its pages. This yearbook and the others of our school will become one of its owners most treasured possessions as the years pass by. Thank you seniors for a job well done and may you all achieve the utmost in your lives to come. I hope that those of you in the Class of 1960 have asked much of Casey High School, that you did your part in achieving your goals, and that we did ours. Fred A.
