The freshman year started off with a bang with the election of the class officers. When the votes had been tabulated, it was found that Max Moore had been elected to serve as class president. The other officers are: Norvan Landis, vice-president; Patty Moody, secretary; and Billie Jean Chrysler, treasurer. At the beginning of the term the freshman population was ninety-eight, while now there remain ninety-three. Of this number, approximately forty-five are graduates of the city grade school. The remaining number are from rural and non-high districts. The freshmen are well represented in extra-curricular activities.
