Wfe have seen this individual develop patterns of behavior in response to these and other forces. We will always remember the phone call from the mother saying the babyis sick and the cycle of telephone activity among our preceptor. the pediatrician and the family. When you think of the matching of eighty students to eighty families as the interrelationship of thousands of variables out of which meaningful relationships have developed. it is easy to realize that the Family Clinic is not merely a series of examining rooms provided by the hospital, but that it is the product of an amazing con- scientious effort by the staff to provide a top-notch medical education.
