The resignation of President Robert Morse, after his years of distinguished service to the uni- versity, left the top administrative position vacant. Dean Louis Toepfer of the Case Western Reserve Law School was called upon to fill this vital position. Although he is filling the position only until the trustees are able to choose a new president, he has served capably and has shown a true commitment to the welfare ofthe university during his short tenure. It is hoped that President Toepfer will continue to lead this school with the strength required for a new and unique university ,MY like Case Western Reserve University.
