Fitted with every type of equipment imaginable, the numerous labs are designed to acquaint Casey with the principles of production design . . . heat and power . . . and aerodynamics. When the mechanicals specialize, they come under the protective wing of a particular professor. Doc Weske shelters all aeronautically inclined men and enlightens them in the mysteries of the aero lab. Though the largest department on the campus . . . Casey ' s mechanicals are a closely knit and active group . . . held together principally by a very active student chapter of the A.S.M.E. 26
