Senior Spotlight 2 i KIRT SCHMIDT I feel that if I were drafted I would go to fight and stand up for America! We Americans today are getting lazy and fat and need to stand up for what we believe. I feel sorry for America if we keep going on as vve are. feel .x eww, i RAMQNA Sl-IELLEY I feel the Draft is good for the guys but not for the girls. The guys should he the ones that have to register. The girls should he able to serve on a volunteer basis so that they can join if they want to but don't have to.

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT PRESIDENT CARTER'S PLAN TO REINSTATE THE DRAFT? ,awww IOE KNOCH I feel that the draft should be reinstated. Women should also be included because that is a part of equal rights. If they don't want to be drafted then the ERA should be abol- ished because it wouIdn't be fair to all the men in this Country. If and when the draft is reinstated I'lI join, but otherwise I won't. ' x SIG s 'F- MARY DENOTO I know there are a lot of different feelings about reinstating the draft. l think the feeling of being made to enlist is turning a lot of people against the idea. However, I feel it is a step in the right direction. The US has always been one of the superior nations, and I think we might have to work to stay there. It wouIdn't be a bad idea to be ready for the time to have to prove it.
