Health Service and DECA we Health Service Club was organized to give high school students a perspective on the many opportunities available in health careers. Club members are encouraged to actively participate in meetings and to join in sub-committees. Members include all of the students of the Health Services Sur- vey class. The club sold cook books in the begin- ning of the year and fieldtrips included: St. Mary's Hospital, Curative Workshop, High Ridge Hospital and the Opportunity Center. DECA is involved in developing educa- tion in marketing and distribution, which will contribute to occupational com- petence. Another DECA goal is to pro- mote understanding and appreciation for the responsibilities of citizenship in our free, competivite, enterprise system. Members run the school bookstore each year, and participate in career conferences at Green Lake, WI and Waukesha. Field trips are also scheduled throughout the school year to Chicago and Milwaukee. Bowling and Chess Case's Bowling Club has rapidly grown since the beginning of the school year. Bowling Club provides students with fun and enjoyment after a hard days work at school. The season will be concluded with a banquet in May. Chess Club encourages an increase of skill in the game of chess and competition between schools. Several interscholastic chess meets are held each year. Case has an equal amount of wins and losses, but as it's been said, It's not whether you win or lose, it's how you play the game.
