The success of this year ' s band can be attrib¬ uted to a dedicated instructional staff and rhe willingness of band and color guard members to devote rhe extra efforts necessary to attain rhe high caliber of performance demanded of them. The South Coast Confer¬ ence wos comprised of some of the best teams and individual runners in the store of Massachusetts. The boys ' ream finished its season with o very successful 5-4 record ond a fifth place finish in o 9-ream league.
