Administration All anyone has to do is think of Case High School, and Mr. Silva, better known as UNC , comes to mind. He is not only the top man as far as school and classes go, but is ever-present at all ac¬ tivities, outside of school. This year ' s class felt especially close to Unc for many reasons. Probably the greatest reason being, that through our years in high school, we have learned to respect and honor this man. Many times during the course of the basketball season, Mr. Silva ' s home was used as a senior meeting place , climaxed by a team party after the Somerset victory. At many times du ring school, we have come across problems in curriculum, student-teacher re¬ lationships, and even personal problems, that we felt, we were capable of discussing with someone who would understand. Mr. Silva is THAT someone. Former students of Case High return to talk things over with Unc, and ask his opinion on matters, which they may even find hard to discuss with theii own parents. The senior class of Joseph Case High School, have much to be thankful for. We had the oppor¬ tunity to experience Mr. Silva ' s Leadership and Un¬ derstanding for our short stay at Case. THANK YOU, MR. SILVA! Mr. Edward R. Silva Vice-Principal

Miss Helen A. Reagan has been associated with Joseph Case High School for 47 years. This year she graduates with us. She began as a teacher of English. She im¬ pressed her students, then, as one who took a personal interest in her students. She devoted part of her free-time helping her college bound students. Before the day be¬ gan, she would ask her students if their lessons were prepared or unprepared and today still professes, You will only get out of this school as much as you put into it. She is always willing to help those who help themselves. She was the unique teacher who could make Shakespeare interesting or learning Burke ' s speech on Con¬ ciliation” a breeze! A visit to Miss Reagan ' s office would certainly tell you alot about her personal¬ ity. Her love of nature is personified by the many plants exhibited and bird feeders by the window. The cabinets contain a large variety of miniature furniture, her col¬ lection of Hummel figurines, and prints of Andrew Wyeth ' s paintings adorn the wall. She has great admiration for the Kennedy family and refers to them often. Words cannot express the loyalty, love and dedication she has put into Case High School. Her relationship with the student body is one to be admired—everyone res¬ pects her for the lady that she is. The Class of 1972 will always treasure her friend¬ ship and Miss Reagan will always treasure her many memories of Joseph Case High School. . . . Here on earth, God ' s work must truly be our own. -J. F. Kennedy, Inaugural Address The proposition is peace. It is simple peace; sought in its natural course.” -Burke ' s Speech on Conciliation The quality of mercy is not strained. It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven Upon the place beneath:” -Shakespeare
