yWr. Edward R. Silva — Assistant Principal Mr. Silva As assistant principal of our school, Mr. Silva is a friend and ally to us. The bond of friendship and understanding which he ex¬ tends to each and every student is a bond which can “ne ' er be broken.’’ Although he sometimes may appear to be abrupt and gruff, it is only a cover up for his soft¬ heartedness. If you ever have a problem, which seems unsolvable, talk it over with “Unc.’’ While you are in school, he tempo¬ rarily adopts you and your problems be¬ come his problems. Yet, Mr. Silva never asks for much in return. All he asks is that we give him the respect he deserves and obey the rules of the school. Mr. Silva has set an excellent example for us and has shown us the true meaning of friendship and good leadership. 12

Administration Miss Reagan Few students at Case realize how much work the faculty really does. Miss Reagan, as principal, leads the faculty and student body with dignity and wis¬ dom. She is the person at Case upon whose shoul¬ ders the problems and questions concerning stu¬ dents and school life ultimately fall. Although the title “principal” is one that usually puts students on their guard. Miss Reagan has shown us, the Class of 1971 through her words and actions, that she is also a friend. She is always ready to help any stu¬ dent with a problem and willingly gives any advice she feels may be helpful.
