IfV! F oreword Four years have passed too quickly, leaving only memories. There was a time for everything while we were at Case— a time to learn, a time to laugh, a time to live. The days were filled with work, play, tension, excitement, and sorrow, and we grew. Yet our growth cannot readily be measured, for each of us took our own meanings and answers from the experiences we shared. Time moves on and so must we move with it. The class of ’69 will break apart and each of us will go our separate ways. But in the pages of this yearbook, in the priceless moments of youth cap¬ tured by a click of the camera shutter, we will be together, and the time that was 1969 will remain forever. V

In Memoriam 1 For nearly four decades Mr. Robert Bannister served the com¬ munity of Swansea as teacher of business, education, bookkeeping, driver education, and as athletic coactu Moreover he was a teacher, advisor, and friend to teenage boys and girls at Case High. The stu¬ dents, richer by far for having known Mr. Bannister, describe him simply as a “great guy.” The stu¬ dents, the school, and the town have grown on the wisdom, cha¬ racter, and personality of teachers like Mr. Bannister. And even in his passing he remains a teacher. The impossibility of ever re¬ placing him teaches us the richest lesson of all: that a human being can attain a real and individual nature through kind and unselfish love. This is his legacy to us, a gift that was given in deeds for thirty-five years to the youth of Swansea. One can only speak in praise of this man. Mr. Robert Bannister 1905-1969 9
