mrs. maurita siedentopf if it is true that older people are supposed to set an example for younger people, then mrs. siedentopf has truly done her job. mrs. siedentopf is more than the ordinary teacher, she is concerned with what happens to her students and what they make of themselves, she takes a deep interest in everything around her. this can be seen in the cheery warmth of her room and by the simple beauty of the dam in the spring. mrs. siedentopf has not only taught us about mitosis, life functions, and cell structure, she has also taught us that being satisfied with what we do and what we have is not enough; we must continue to do better, she has taught us that in taking a personal interest in ourselves, we can become a better person. and so, in gratitude, we dedicate this 1967 chief to mrs. maurita m. siedentopf, who has dedicated the past 10 years to us. 4 dedication 6
