Vice Principal Always ' with a concern for the student, Mr. Edward Silva has loomed before us a disciplinarian, foremost in the areas of watcher-of-the-exit-door between 8:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. and chief-smoke-smeller- and-nicotine-detector. Yet, we know him equally well in the capacity of high school spirit conjuror through his invocations over the P. A. system. And as we get to know him better, he seems to be human,, friendly, and compassionate, serving not solely to discipline and exhort, but to guide and counsel. MISS HELEN A. REAGAN Principal Marking her twentieth year as principal of the Joseph Case High School, Miss Helen A. Reagan has served in a manner befitting her capacity of responsibility to the school. With both wisdom and dignity she has guided both whole classes and individuals through the rigors of school life. Her office is the abode of warmth and pride and the place of frank warning and criticism. Her name, and indeed, her very being, is inseparably associated with the school, for she has grown with it, suffering in all it may have suffered, and striving forward with all of its advances. The greatest way to measure her greatness as both principal and as a lady is to ennumerate the fine men and women who have passed through these doors and into the world, successfully, under her guidance.
