On September 21, 1956, the semors honored us with a reception. ln the everung we entertained the audience for an hour with our stunts and costumes. Following the enta- tamrnent there was a dance. The girls rn the freshman class who participated in sports were Lmda Edwards, Priscilla Duntley, Dorcas Nutting, Ada Bell, Caroline Stone, Sally Hancock, Caroline Brown, Patricia Tenny, and Caroline Eldridge. Gwendolyn Watkins was chosen as one of the cheerleaders. The boys who participated in sports were James Shane, Irving Felker, Brett Webber, Allen Shackley, and Robert Leso.
