Mr. Bourgeois graduated from Luxemburg High School and attended Wisconsin State College, Milwaukee, graduating with a Bachelor of Education degree in Music. He has been a member of the faculty of Casco High School, since graduation, for the past ten years He has devoted his time to teaching chorus, two bands, and young students who are beginning to study music. Barb, Cheryl, and Harriet Veeser CLASS HISTORY Without any idea of how fait four years tan pass, we entered high school as freshmen in I960 With the help of our advisors, Mrs. Dhuey and Mr. Zellinger, we elected our first class officers: President, John Nemettj Vice President, Barbara Veeser; Secretary, Sandra Lukes; Treasurer, Larry Junion Lynn Deprey and Charles Thiry represented our class on the Student Council. In October, the Sophomore Class initiated us. At night they sponsored a party and made each of us perform a simple stunt. Also during October, Jean Webster joined our class When we returned as Sophomores the following fall, we elected as officers: President, Barbara Veeser; Vice President, Larry Junian; Secretary, John NemcU; Treasurer, Lynn Deprey. Our claw delegates to the Student Council were Judy LaCroix and Jerry LeMense Our advisors were Mrs. Dhuey and Mr. Loos. That fall we gained our revenge when we initiated the new Freshmen Hardly realizing where the year had gone, we entered Casco High as Juniors. Officiating for our class that year were: President, Lyrm Deprey; Vice President, Henry Boulanger; Secretary, Judy LaCroix; Treasurer, Barbara Veeser Our Student Council members were Dawn Fiek and Robert Reidy. Our ad visors were Mis. Dhuey and Mr Loos. Robert Reidy transferred from Sacred Heart Seminary at the beginning of the second quarter. We held our Junior Prom on May 3, 1963 We decorated the gym to describe our theme Some¬ where Over the Rainbow. Reigning as king and queen were Chuck Thiry and Barbara Veeser Vince DeLdn and Lynn Deprey, Robert Reidy and Dawn Fick, Jerry LeMense and Judy LaCroix, Butch Bou¬ langer and Gail Hoffman, Sheldon Prodell and Dorothy Lavrenz. served as members of the court. Cary Thiry and Debbie Wilson acted as our junior king and queen. Emily Beilin aaid Bob Dhuey represented C.H.S. at Badger Girls State and Badger Boys ' State, Each spent a week at Madison and Ripon respectively studying Wisconsin ' s Government Carol Strnad and John Nctnetz were alternates Returning in the fall of 1963 under a new principal Mr. Thielke, we set out to finish our high school education. For the fourth and final time we elected: President, Bill Bmsda; Vice President Edward Trend; Secretary, Sharon Bouche; Treasurer, Barbara Veeser Our Student Council members were Regina De¬ prey and Vince Dclain. Mrs, Brown, Mr Bourgeois, and Mr DcNamur were our advisors Our homecoming, celebrated on October 11, 1963, was most enjoyable after a win over Southern Door. The day ended with a semi-formal dance. In the morning each class presented a skit, and in die after¬ noon Casco played host to Southern Door High School as out homecoming day rivals. Casco defeated Southern Door in a well played game, by a score of 13-7. In the evening the traditional homecoming dance was held. The gym was decorated to the theme of Autumn Silhouette. The climax of the evening was die crowning of the queen, Judy LaCroix, by the King, Sheldon Piodell, who was chosen by his team¬ mates. They were attended by the court of honor. Music for the gay event was furnished by the Modenaires.
