With Affection To Mrs. Alice Etzel, longtime teacher of Cascade Union High School this volume is affectionately dedicated. Mrs. Etzel has unselfishly given her talents to helping the youth of our communities since 1957. Her teaching ability has sucessfully prepared hundreds of students for the world of tomorrow. A Mrs. Etzel graduated from Washington State in Bellingham Washington and then taught at a junior high in Washington. Prior to coming to Cascade she was Principal at Hillcrest in Salem. During her years of service at Cascade Mrs. Etzel's most prominent duty was teaching social sciences. She also offered her counsel as Girl's League Advisor, Dean of Girls, and Attendance Officer. A devoted instructor in all respects with merits of affability, acumen, and understanding have made her a superior teacher. from the Cascade Student Body
