DEDICATION In the one short year that Mr. Leonard Federico has been vice-principal at Cascade Union High, we all have learned to respect his word and honor his decisions. Such respect does not always come easily, but is always hard earned. Mr. Federico is one of the few adults with the gift for understanding the current teen generation. Not very many of today’s grown population can boast of this power, and it is power because the adult who can understand youth will find it much easier to get them to work for him and themselves. Such a man is Mr. Federico. This understanding, along with a seemingly endless supply of energy, hustles him from meeting to meeting, parent to parent, and student to student. Many are the days when he arrives at school around seven-thirty and stays until almost six. His basic job of vice-principal was supplemented with such time consuming items as athletic director, head football coach, assistant basketball coach, and activities director. All of these secondary tasks were undertaken to the best of his abilities, which in itself was a job well done. Ail of the students of Cascade during 1966-’67 are glad to have Mr. Federico and he will always be welcome here at Cascade. 4
