Each girl participating in the Homemaking program has the opportunity to develop interests, skills and wholesome attitudes through a variety of real group and individual experiences in al 1 phases of home living Class work in clothing, personal living, personal appearance, house- keeping, home decoration, foods, management, child care and home nursing, plus home experiences and fun together in activities help girls to develop an appreciation of the beauty and satisfactions to be found in everyday life and to have a better understanding of the responsibili- ties of home living. The F. H. A. has many activities during the school year. Among these are the district convention, individual projects for each girl, and joint parties with the F. F. A. boys. Monies for the treasury are raised chiefly through popcorn and doughnut sales. Advisor for the F. H. A. is Mrs. Eleanor DeCamp. 27
