They compile the absentee list and check attendance records, compose and distribute the daily bulletin, type letters and transcripts, permanent records and report cards, and do general office work. Student Council Pictured above: Student Body Officers, Bonnie Dalke, Junior Treasurer; Bob Smith, President; Jim Uhrhammer, Vice President; Dorothy Franzen, Secretary; Albert Younger, Sergeant at Arms; and Charlotte Hilton, Senior Treasurer. The Student Body C ouncil members meet weekly throughout the school year to discuss and act upon school issues rela- tive to the welfare and instruction of Cascade students. Mem- bership is based on seniority, scholarship, and leadership popularity. The group is composed of student body officers elected during the previous year and home room representatives from each of Cascade’s home rooms. Mr. Uhrhammer, Principal of C ascade Union High School, is advisor to the Student Council. 10
