The year hasn't been too successful in winning games, but it has been success- ful in bolstering up the girls' courage and morale. 'No games were won this year in league games. The team defeated Parkdale and Corbettg both were home genes. Success at lastl The Volleyball Tournament proved to be the surprise and excite- ment of the year. Although Cascade Locks loet to Odell in the first round of volley- ball, they won the next two games they played. These games were against Corbett, then Dufur. By defeating these two teams, Cascade Locks was able to gain fourth place in the Volleyball Tournament. Proudly the girls displayed this honor because it was the first time it has been won by Cascade Locks. Next year the girls will keep on aiming for the top and perhaps they will make it. Everyone hopes so. with some new methode, and some renewed energy and spirit, next you-'s team should come up with as much zest and spunk as this year's team. May their year be -as success- ful or even better than this one.
