Front roww-left to right-WChuckW Von Ahn, Ron- ald Keyser, NCorky' MacKinnon, David McClure, B111 Arthur, and George Nichols. BASKETBALL NEWS Cascade Locke enjoyed a very good season. In the strong Cascade league composed of 8 teams, the NPIRATESU finished in 3rd place compared with 8th place the year be- fore. The team was coached by Mr. Eilertsen, assisted by Mr. Forsythe. Captain Haight , center, and Snell, forward, sparked the PIRATFB in league play, Byers, forward, MacKinnon, guard, and Arthur, guardg rounded out the starting tive. Other lettermen included D. Nichols, Von Ahn, G. Nichols, Easley, Keyser, and McClure. Don Snell made the Cascade league all-star five, Don Haight received honorable mention. Coach Eilertsen received the honor of all-star coach for moving the UPIRATESW from the cellar to 3rd place.
