FOOTBAIL NEWS The HPIRATESU 6-man squad had the beet season since starting football three years ago. Coach Eilertsen was greeted with 7 lettermen and good nucleous of Freshmen and reserves. The NPIEATESW wen the sub-district 6-B playoff from Dufvr, L6-12. In the district 6-B final, Cascade Locks net Spray on the local field and romped to a 38 to 20 win. In quarter-finals of 6-man play for state honors, the UPIRATESN journeyed to Talent in Southern Oregon and were defeated 50-20. The first team was composed of Don Haight and Jim Byers, ends, 'Chuckn Von Ahn, centerg David Easley, quarterbackg Wcorkyn MacKinnon, fullbackg and Bill Arthur , halfback.
