Whitehea The Bruins ofthe Month and Girls of the Season are stu- dents who are honored by the Boys' and Girls' Clubs respectively. They are selec- ted on the basis of having given extra time and effort to the betterment of the Boys' and Girls' Clubs of Cascade. x r Dave Young, Bull Varley, Curt LeMaster, Steve Stearns, Election Committee Advised by Mr. Zalesky, the Election Committee planned all of the various activities and required jobs concern- ing all school elections. This year's chairmen were Jim Tolletson, Nancy Peterson, and Vicky Westman. The committee was kept busy, especially in the Spring, con- ducting the seemingly innum- erable tasks involved in an election. They set up the nominating Conventions, su- pervised campaign proced- ures, organized a candidate assembly and counted an endless stream ot ballots. Under the direction ot Mr. Ted Wahlstrom, singers performed at the Lions Club and Evergreen Junior High School. At a special Christmas assembly the combined Acapella and Chorus entertained the entire student body with songs ot the season. They also presented a winter and spring concert to the public. Early in the spring, the music department sponsored a trip to the Seattle Opera House.
