BADGER GRIDDERS Pat Wiley, Ken Mesaros, Duane Wojtala, Dennis Belisle, Brent Sanders, Tracy Marquis, Steve Parsons, Jim Cornelius, Wesley Teterud, Steve Belisle, Tim Latham, COACH: Mr. Rose, Larry Buckingham, Jim Reeves, Rick Mur rill, Dan Nordhagan, Chris Cordeiro, Bob C. Miller, Ken Thompson, Roger Wright, Ray Cordeiro, Rick Fenton, MANAGER Bob J. Miller. 7 9 Coach Don Rose’s charges of 1967-68 came up with a 3-4 conference record and a 4-4 overall record and fifth place in the conference. This was an impressive record, as there were only three seniors on the squad. Starting the season out with an impressive 62-18 win over nonconference Geraldine the Badgers then beat a strong Power team by a score of 7-0. The Badgers then hit a streak of bad luck as they fell victim to the Simms Tigers by a score of 40-7 in their annual homecoming tilt and losing to Brady and Belt by scores of 44-19 and 32-26, respectively. The Badgers then took their next two outings from Centerville and Augusta by scores of 42-20 and 43-7. They ended their season with a 40-27 loss at the hands of the Dutton Cardinals . The Badger lettermen included: seniors: Wes Teterud, Steve Belisle and Ken Mesaros; juniors: Jim Cornelius, Duane Wojtala, Steve Parsons, Pat Wiley, Dennis Belisle, Tracy Marquis, Brent Sanders; and sophomores: Ray and Chris Cordeiro, Larry Buckingham, BobC. Miller, Rick Fenton, and Tim Latham. Wes Teterud and Steve Belisle were selected as co-captains for the year. 21
