The chapter was very active this year. They were host chapter in the District Leadership Conference, Public Speaking Contest, and the Glacier District Convention. At the State Leadership Conference, Ken Mesaros received the State Farmer award. Livestock Proficiency award along with one hundred dollars, and received fourth Vice-President in the Montana Association of F.F.A. Joe McKamey won a trip touring Minnesota along with thirty dollars. The Cascade Chapter won the Quality Grains award enabling their advisor, Jim Lewis, to participate in an all expense paid trip to Michigan. Jim Pollack represented the Cascade Chapter in state competition after being selected as Star Greenhand from the Glacier District. The judging team placed in the top twelve state judging teams. The honor of Chapter Sweetheart went to Linda Marxer this year. 16
