DEDICATION We, the Seniors of 1965, proudly dedicate this Ketochi to Mr. Irvin Rieke. We extend to him our sincere appreciation for his loyalty and his genuine interest in us and the future of our school. We owe our new athletic field to Mr. Rieke1 s generosity. With this annual we wish to express our deepest gratitude to Mr. Rieke whose active support of our school far outweighs his civic duty. A sincere thank you from all of us. 3

FOREWORD In 1930 the annual was given the name KETOCHI, an Indian word meaning ”hilltop’. Now, thirty-five years later, Ketochi still graces the cover of this annual. ’’Ketochi” will always suggest the many mountains of our vicinity, the butte, Mount Cecilia, the Little Beits and others. This name indicates , the high placement of our ideals and aims, and symbolizes the greater heights of learning and achievement which we hope to attain. After reach- ing the summit of the second stage of our education, we look for higher peaks to scale.
