VU' Freshmen Are Welcomed Freshmen Orientation Was held on August 26, at 9:00. New students and Freshmen were told about Casa Roble's rules and regulations. Counselors, deans, and Administrators were intro- duced ,to the assembly. Student Council members gave a short speech. The cheerleaders and songleaders gave one of their funny skits. Yearbooks and Student Body Cards were sold, to the eager students. s

The Pool ls Finally Done!! During the summer, construction of the pool was started, and the pool Was finally com- pleted in the early part of November. After Waiting for 3 years to have a pool constructed it's ready for the dreaded swimming classes in P.E. The pool will provide enjoy- ment for Casa Roble students.

Confusion on the First Day. .. The first day of school always provides confusion as well as excitement. Schedules have to be adjusted- you have to wait in a long line at the Guidance office to get it fixed right. Students end up in the wrong class, only to be late to the next class. Even though there are problems the lst day of school-everyone is glad to be back and see all their friends, meet new friends, and find new goals to reach. E r 6
