Many clubs here on campus have had fund raisers during this year to earn money for activities they have planned. Here are some members of Students For Multi-Cultural Understanding selling Christmas Grams to the students. Clubs come up with many new and different ways to raise the funds need- ed for their clubs activities. Dr. Renner Ventling, principal, and SADD sponsor Ms. Mary Fox discuss plans for a club retreat. The group met other SADD chapters in the state at the October retreat. There the group found new ways to pro- mote public awareness about the problem that all SADD members are presently try- ing to fight.

Different clubs are for different people. Have you found the club that best suits you? There are various clubs for all kinds of students because each student has a dif- ferent style and background. Students for Multi-Cultural Understand- ing is sponsored by Ms. J ameela Mutab. It helps students understand and appreicate cultures and customs of themselves and others. It also helps students to be aware and fight off racial and ethnic sterotypes. Most of all, the club helps promote better student relationships. The club is interest- ing and enlightening. You will also meet a lot of new friends, said Mrs. Mutab. SADD, or Students Against Drunk Driv- ing, is a club formed to arouse a concern for drunk driving. The main purpose of the club is to discourage and give alterna- tives to drunk driving, said Ms. Fox, SADD sponsor. If you're going to drink, don't drive. If you're going to drive, don't drink, said member Brett Wallace. ICAAN is a group for people who have a harder time learning than others. These students are learning to show themselves they can do things on their own and reach their goals. There are the accomplishments of the ICAAN members.
