Now that our high school careers will soon be drawn to a close, we, the Senior Class of 1953, present to you this edition of the YRAC, so that the wonderful memories of our last year at Cary will be recorded for all to see. The theme of our annual is originality; the purpose, to create a complete pic- ture of one year at Cary High. With this in mind, the staff began its plans for the best of annuals. We hope, that as the years pass, and the sands of time dull the memory, the 1953 YRAC will become a tangible memento of our high school years. We will have accomplished our goal, if, when you turn the pages of this annual, each picture brings back vividv memories of life at our school. With mingled feelings of joy and sad- ness, we leave Cary, praying that the glow of reminiscense will arouse in your hearts the love that we, as de- parting Seniors, feel for our Alma Mater.
