The stride of a tiger is sleek and strong; Always with a direction, a purpose. Following a rainbow of colors to reach its goal. Graceful yet forceful; Knowing it can’t be stopped. This is the stride of a Carver Tiger. 1980 Tigonian Carver High School Columbus, Georgia Striding For Uniqueness 4 Being different is one of our main goals. Each one of us is different from the others and we always try to sustain this uniqueness. Equality is rarely seen around campus because every Tiger has his or her own style. This style is brought out in our performances and even in our daily routines. 5 6 We are working hard to be perfect in everyway. Our flaws are almost nonexistent; but we always can make room for improvement. Each task, each perfor- mance is done with the thought of making it the high- est degree of excellence that can be attained. Striding “Carver-ly” 11 We are constantly striving for complete contentment in ourselves and with everything around us. Our desires and expectations have to be fulfilled before our beauty can be let out for others to see. All of our demands must be met or else we are left with a feeling of emptiness in our surroundings and ourselves. This emptiness only makes the path to our goals longer and lonelier. u 14 n r 6 Lamar Crowell Barbara Chadwick 'Greg Jones 'Wanda Gibson Eric Pinkett John Camp Chris Ikner AT j Wanda Thomas 18 19 20 Kelvin Clark 'Kelvin Washington ‘Patricia Gordon ‘Kim Nettles Cindy James Ron Herbst 'Robin Herring Patricia Smith Elaine Smith Theresa Davis Angie Davis Ms. Masters J. It may seem small but there is power within. The faculty is dedicated and the students have pride. You will always find the Tigers standing side by side. Through thick and thin we’re always on the go, Where our academics and athletics are never found functioning too slow. When our brothers and sisters are in need. The Tigers stick together and always succeed. The school as a whole is really fun.
