PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE To the 1971 graduates who are on the threshold of a new period of life, I congratulate you on the completion of your high school career. During the twelve years, you were able to share with parents and teach- ers the many long hours of sacrifices, work, play, victories, defeats, dis- appointments and happiness. However, this is your year and you will be challenged to use all of the knowledge that you have gained in such a brief period of time. With so many unsolved issues in the world today you must use every opportunity to help solve as many as you possibly can for the good of all people. As you enter into life's main stream and take on the task of finding your place in life, may all of the good and worthwhile qualities of Carver be at your disposal. 4
