Classmates, I am sure you have often heard the saying, Time will Tell. But in my case it isn't true. As the prophetess of the class of 1962-1963, I shall foretell the future of my class- mates. As I turn my crystal ball, I see that many of my classmates will be living in different parts of the world. They all will have a variety of interesting and exciting careers. Jerry Grady and James Grandy will be at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base flying the latest jets. Bobby Melton, Lonnie Armwood, Donald Bass, Lamont Williams, Bobby Stevens, Allen Kornegay, Willie Martin, and Nathaniel Howell, will be serving their country in different parts of the world by their active duties in the Armed Forces. Serving along with them will be Josephine Jones, and Gladys Battle who are wacs in the Armed Forces. Mary Merritt and Vennie Stewart will be some of the world's most gracious airline hostesses. Margaret Oates and Corine Musgrave will devote themselves to the active duty of Social Workers in Australia. Devoting themselves to the care of others will be Doris Royall, Sandra King, and Mary Hagans who will be nurses in different parts of the United States. Gertrude King will be the favorite of all the patients as she will be working as a Nurse's Aid in a New York hospital. Clara Grady will be one of the top Medical Researchers in North Carolina. Annette Barfield and Annie Bass will be top biological laboratory technicians in Washington, D. C. Carolyn Teachey, as an Ebony Model, will model some of the world's finest fashions. Dorothy Yelvertson will work as a seamstress in a very exclusive dress shop in Paris. Of course there will be some devoted teachers from our group. Some of them will be Annette Flanagan and Elizabeth Smith working as elementary teachers in the Dudley Elementary School System. Thomas Elliott and Ronald Broadhurst will be instructing Commercial Education and Social Science at our dear Alma Mater. Larry Ward and Joseph Moore will be a few miles away at different schools both teaching Commercial Education. Tony Forbes and Earl Sauls will be engineers and will construct one of the world's greatest bridges. Charles Brewington will work as a diesel mechanic in one of the world's greatest oil industries. Archie Graham will own an Esso Garage with Herman Barnes, Russell Wooten, John Wynn, and Johnie King as his employees. Laddie King, Eunice McClain, Gladys Smith, Ida Jones, Mamie Thompson, Mildred Korne- gay, Evon Fields, Doris Bennett, and Hilda King will earn their fame in the field of secretarial work. Patricia Hinton, and Hilda Raynor will be working as secretaries in the Pentagon. Marvin Hatcher will be known for his Upholstery Shop which will be located in Goldsboro, N. C. Louis Robertson will own his own Funeral Home where Oleatha Boseman will be employed as his bookkeeper. Barbara J. Gookman will own the most elaborate beauty salons ever to be in Mt. Olive. Em- ployed there to give your hair the natural look will be Marion Jones, Irene Sutton, Mary Smith, Delois Powell, Peggy Sutton, Dorice Graham, and Evelyn Bass. Lemeul Pearsall will own a chain of barbershops throughout the United States. The managers of these shops will be Council Mc- Cullen, Isacc Whitfield, John Best, Thermon Bizzell, and Jimmy Melton. One of my classmates, Patricia Kornegay, will win fame as one of the world's greatest actresses. Class Prop hetess Annette Barfield 24
