Prologue Although Carver College is still considered young in comparison with most junior colleges, it has made tremendous progress in all phases of its development. Each year begins with an influx of new students who are eager to broaden them¬ selves educationally, spiritually and morally. The Orientation Week is especially interesting since the new students must be introduced to their new surroundings and studies. Then there follows a stream of activities: clubs, the Christmas dance, sports, May Day, Junior-Senior Prom, and finally Commencement. We, the Carveran Staff, do offer this yearbook as a record of happy days spent at Carver College. We challenge you to read it, analyze it, and, in so doing re-live with us the accomplishments of the Carver family, 1958-59. 2
