FOREWORD Wi .. 1 J. ' V i?-.;. - |f ' ■■ ' ;. ■ —-A ' ■ ' ■ ■ ' ::V! ONE PICTURE IS WORTH TEN THOUSAND WORDS --In this 1958 edition of the Carveran , we have endeavored to bring you a pictorial review of life at Carver College during the year 1957-58. On September 1 9» 1 957, approximately 500 students came together and learned to know and love each other. There were tears, but no one cried alone; there was laughter, which was shared by all. Publishing a memory book, as any school annual is, would be impossible without the help of many. A IW great amount of credit must go to our Director, Dr. •A. Edward H. Brown, who led us through this year; the ' •J: teache rs who helped in identifying pictures, and the students who contributed toward the editing of our 1958 Carveran. So we present this annual to you, to keep always in your storehouse of memories. k ' ' • ' ' 1 t ■ • - 2
