AS SEEN THROUGH OF THE TIGER.” The Words Eye of the Tiger represent more than just the title of a popular song. They reflect what the CHS student body stands for. Not just the Tiger football, basketball or tennis teams, but the students and teachers, as individuals, who participate and get involved. Those quiet heroes who voiced their opposing opinions and weren't afraid to do so. Through the Eye of the Tiger, numerous events at CHS are seen throughout each year, such as the hectic registration day at the beginning of the year. Also, remember how we panicked when the bell rang ... because we were sure we'd never make it to our next class on time? Then came the first football game of the season, which is always the most exciting. The stands of Hopke Field were crowded as the CHS Tigers played their hearts out. Soon came Homecoming week — when the Freshmen, Sophomores, juniors, and Seniors demonstrated spint and creativity. But they weren't all good times. There were moments of sadness and disappointment when our team didn't make as many points as we'd hoped, or when we failed an important test in that rough class. We learned that high school is more than just blackboards and textbooks. It is an experience that only we, the students, can make good or bad. It determines the rest of our lives. Along the line, we suddenly know our childhood days are slipping away and we will soon be adults. Now the time has come when we must go our separate ways.
