Scene if Out goes the oldg in comes the new. Ralph Clayton fleftj 1951-52 President Dick Richardson frightj 1952-53 President Lead and Fnllnw W'ill the meeting please come to order? The secretary will please call the roll. We will now hear the treasurer's report. What! You mean We're out of money again! . e These and other familiar statements were heard often in our organizations this year. School organizations played an important part in student school life, and every student felt the influence of the extracurricular ac- tivities. In these organizations, students learned to lead as well as to follow. They, working together, provided for all students one of the fullest years of activities and ac- complishments in the history of our high school. On the pages following are pictures and stories of our varied organizations. To these i we salute and say, Good work. Well done. Bands, parades, posters, cam- paign buttons, bally-hoo, elec- tioneering -- all are the prelude for the big day, the day of the student president election in C.H.S. Here, amid the bal- loons, the band, and the many campaign posters the student body listens as President Clay- ton introduees the candidates and their campaign managers.
