TOP LEFT: Mrs. Diane Lane, the Home Economics teacher, was helping Brenda Kincaid with a sewing project. TOP CENTER LEFT: Mr. Paul Rothe taught in the English and Social Science Department. TOP CENTER RIGHT: Mrs. Mary Ann Rountree taught Girls' P.E, and coached Girls' Volleyball. TOP RIGHT: Mr. Paul Sanchez, Drivers Training instructor and Wrestling Coach, showed a movie. MIDDLE LEFT: Mr. Robert Lane, the Agriculture Department Chairman, demonstrated how to use the shop equipment. MIDDLE CENTER LEFT: Mrs. Sherian Lyles served as head of the Business Education Department. MIDDLE CENTER RIGHT: Mr. Dan Sousa, head Football Coach and Drivers' Training and Boys' P.E. teacher, was comparing last year's football team to this year's team. TOP LEFT: Mrs. Dale Barackman was the Art Teacher and also worked in the English Department. TOP CENTER LEFT: 'Mr. Gary Del'Simone was the new Biology Teacher and was also a Coach. TOP CENTER: Mr. Mike Duncan, Special Education Department, showed Clifford Ratcliff a country on the globe. TOP CENTER RIGHT: Mr. George Gaus taught U. S. History, Orientation, and was also a Coach. TOP RIGHT: Mr. James Gottfried lectured to his Spanish Class. Mr. Gottfried taught in the Foreign Language Department. The Caruthers High faculty did an outstanding job of helping to support students. Quite a few of them took part as class and club advisers with great contributions in money-making projects and club outings. They also helped the students with other activities, such as, chaperoning dances and attending sports events. A tremendous amount of time, devotion and influence went into helping the students to make this year at Caruthers High School one of the most spirited and memorable ever. MIDDLE LEFT: Mr. John Dunlap helped Dawn Fairless with her typing. Mr. Dunlap taught Typing and Accounting. MIDDLE CENTER LEFT: Miss Arlene Dutschke was a new teacher in the Agricultural Department. , MIDDLE CENTER: Mr. Nick Eliopulos taught Study Hall and Continuation.
