Although the war has hampered our normal progress, we have done the utmost to bring back some of the old tradi- tions and annual activities that seemed to have been forgotten in the past few years. We organized the class by electing the following officers: President, Paul Hansong vice-president, Ray Whitey secretary, Bernice Engle: treasurer, Irene Coen. On March thirteenth, we invited the Seniors to participate in a dress-up day. There were some very clever costumes and everyone had a good time. We pre- sented the annual lunior Class Play, entitled Professor, How Could You? , a lively threeoct comedy to provide funds for our lunior-Senior Prom. On April eleventh, We sponsored an assembly for the enjoyment of the student body, which was participated in by some of our most talented Iuniors. In sports, we were well represented by several star Varsity and Block C letter- men. The luniors represented a fair share of the athletes in all the different sport fields. And it is believed that we will play a great part in the winning of the leagues next year. Our lunior girls held down their part of the sporting front by winning the inter-class volleyball championship. By ordering our class rings in the latter part of our Sophomore year, we were able to receive them early this year. This plan turned out to be very successful and everybody seemed well pleased with their rings. Pat Quist and Gene Reno were the lunior representatives in the C.S.l:'. The Iuniors were hosts to the Seniors at the prom on the eighth of Iune, thus ending an active year. l l n-Q COMMITTEEMEN. Back row, left to right: O. Lis ey social, L. Wininger, rally. Front row: I.
