edication ,,LIi 43 Mr. and Mrs. Grad LaGrone . . . Mr. and Mrs. Grady LaGrone are the inspiration and learning stimulus for many students who have entered CHS doors throughout the years. Both have served the school diligently and unselfishly, Mr. Laflrone as guidance counselor, civics teacher, and in many other positions in the pastg and Mrs. l.aGrone as senior high literature instructor, with responsibilities as senior sponsor and annual sponsor for several years. In addition, their con- tributions to the community through civic clubs, church work, the Miss Panola County pageant, P-TA, Lions Club, and many other worthy organizations have won for them the trust and admiration of citizens of the area. For these reasons the PINE BURR staff honors Mr. and Mrs. Lalironentwo important links between school and community.

Mrs. LaGrone this year directed the Village Play- ers in the production of Archibald MacLeish's 1.B. Her interest in drama led her to direct the senior play for several years. Her unselfish concern for the future of her students has been an incentive for suc- cess to many of her students. Special Links . . . bv! K.
