The journalism department moved to more spacious quarters, and students now work in a three room suite. Changes were made in grade ar- rangements this past year in the Car- thage school. The eighth grade was moved to Koonce Junior School, and J the sixth grade became a part of Baker Elementary. Others Provide Service These four members of the staff provide special services for both students and faculty. Mrs. Mildred Kyle was selected as the first person to provide Special Education services for Koonce and high school. Mrs. Shaw, in addition to her Audio-Visual Directorship, has taught science in Koonce. Mrs. Tatum serves all the schools in her capacity as nurse.
