He taught and coached in this school system and served as Jr. High principal before occupving his present posi- tion. He attended Baylor University and received his BA and MA. Mr. lf. l3.'Morrison first Came t0 Carthage in l93l. Until l942, he served as head football coach. principal of what now Rakcr El6II1CIlliH'y School, junior high principal, and baseball coach. He returned to Carthage i11 1957 and has held his present position since then. He received his BX and lllfd from the University of Texas.

The senior high school. last year, housed the top five grades and now holds the top four. The eighth grade was kept at Koonf-e which hevame Koonct- Junior School. The Koonce School now contains the seventh and eighth grades. Carthage Board of Eduvation is constantly seeking ways to improve the school plant and to help the administration and faculty provide better education for the Carthage youth. I5
