Yum! Waiting for the One o'Clocl: Bell. Lllllllli 0F UllL0ll This year marks the finale for the class of '-11. During our all too brief stav here at C. H. S. we have tried our best and have succeeded to some extent in helping to bring honors of various types to our school. Members of our class were undeniably instrumental in gaining a football championship for our school. Al- so, the successes attained by the band and drum corps and the R. O. T. C. were due in no small part to the members of our class that worked so hard to produce the desired results. We elected our officers, as did the members of other classes, with these re- sults: Larry Flanigan, presidentg J. S. Carter, vice president, Roy Dunham, treasurer: Harriett Rollins, secretaryg Thomas McNerney, reporter. May 9, 1941, being our last Friday as members of the student body, we pre- sented a program which was enthusiasti- cally received by the younger members of the institution. Finally on Friday night, May 16, we received our honory discharges and be- came alumni and graduates of our alma mater. Miss Louise Halliburton is our able sponsor and deserves our heartfelt thanks. The class of '42 has been outstanding in many activities, but especially in those of a musi- cal and athletic nature. Practically all the im- portant roles in the annual operetta were capably filled by juniors, and members of the class were invaluable in the services they performed for the football and athletic teams.
