The Class of '80 has been thought of as an underdog from its meek beginning through its junior year. The final year at Carthage has changed that attitude. The Seniors started off the year with a great deal of enthusiasm and came away from Home- coming with an undeniable vic- tory in the float competition. The Senior football players had a fantastic football career finale as the team made it all the way to the state playoffs. Not to be forgotten are the high academic achievements which have been earned by members of the Senior class. As the end of their high school days draw near, the students of the Class of '80 are making the most of the remaining days. They are looking forward to “that big moment,” graduation.
