Carthage High School Carthage, Illinois 1976 Dedication The 1976 year has been one of memories, not only for our nation but for Carthage High as well. When we look back upon this year there will be many events and activities that will warm our hearts. In the midst of many of these functions not only in ’76, but for the past several years has remained a dedicated and concerned instructor. Few teachers will probably ever achieve the respect and admiration that this teacher has gained, not only through her classroom teaching duties, but also through her loyalty in other educational avenues. Thus, it is with humility that we proudly dedicate the 1976 yearbook to Miss Virginia Allison. 1976 Carthaginian Editors Colleen Carroll Susan Holt Bev Logan Table Of Contents Activities Division...............................73 Administration Division ...........................7 Advertising ...............................130 - 144 Advertising Division.............................129 Baseball.........................................108 Basketball.................................105 - 106 Boys’ Scores ................................112-113 Calendar ........................................4-5 Carthaginian Staff.............................56-57 C-Club ...........................................68 Cheerleaders ....................................120 Choirs............................................90 Concert Band .....................................95 Cooks ............................................17 Cross Country....................................102 Custodians........................................17 Dedication.........................................2 Faculty........................................10-16 FFA ..............................................62 FHA...............................................63 Flag Girls .......................................96 Football.....................................100-101 French Club ......................................61 Freshmen.......................................40-43 Girls’ Track.....................................118 Girls' Softball .................................116 Girls’ Scores....................................119 Graduation .......................................36 Hall Monitors ....................................63 Homecoming Game ..................................75 Homecoming Parade.................................74 Homecoming Royalty................................76 Honor Students.................................66-67 Index .......................................145-147 Jazz Band and Officers............................94 Juniors .......................................48-51 Music Division....................................89 Newspaper Staff...................................58 Office Personnel...................................9 Organizations Division ...........................55 Pep Club..........................................69 Pillow Talk ......................................86 Ponpon Girls......................................96 Prom Banquet......................................81 Prom Royalty .....................................82 Quill Scroll....................................59 School Board.......................................8 Seniors .......................................20-31 Senior Activities..............................32-35 Senior Autographs ...............................148 Seniors Division..................................19 Senior Picnic.....................................37 Sports Division ..................................99 Sophomores.....................................44-47 Student Council...................................60 Thespians ........................................70 Title Page.........................................1 Track ...........................................110 Troupe ...........................................71 Twirlers..........................................96 Underclassmen Division ...........................39 Variety Show...................................87-88 Wrestling........................................103 School Calendar Wed.
