Student Council STUDENT COUNCIL This extremely active organization, composed of representatives from each class and organization of our school, is the student component of administration. They work closely with faculty, principal and our parents group, the CCHS Associates. They plan and preside over school assemblies, organize and sponsor homecoming activities, and willingly assist with school parties and other functions. The purpose of the Student Council of Carthage Community High School is to promote among students of Carthage Community High School a knowledge and inter- est in good government; to encourage students to accept and discharge their responsibilities to themselves and their school; to stimulate a spirit of cooperate among the students and the faculty; and to aid in the development of loyal, con- structive school spirit. 26 Compliments of FIRST NATIONAL BANK
