This very active organization is a member of both the state and national student council associations. An especial honor which they helped to bring C.C.H.S. this year was the election of their candidate, Darrell Hartweg, as first vice-president of the state association. This year’s projects included: Freshman Get-Acquainted Party, Scheduled a Dinner Music Program, Sponsored Homecoming Activities, Sponsored Assemblies, Observed State Student Council Week, Assisted with School Pictures, Arranged a Coffee Hour for the Teachers, Decora- ted the trees at Christmas, Sent Seven Delegates to District Convention, Sent Two Delegates to State Convention, Participated in Light Bulb SellingCampaign, Planned Awards Night Program, Provided Hospitalized or Bereaved School Personnel with Flowers or Gifts; Assisted Associates in Paying for Eight Cedars for the School Landscaping.
