The purpose of the Council is to develop student leadership and responsibility, to encourage student participation in all school activities, and to render service to school and the community. Special activities of the Council include: assisting in publication of the Yearbook, planning homecoming, sponsoring assemblies, promoting a school of instruction for officers of organizations, and managing concessions at the County or Regional tournaments. Ken West, Vice President of the Pekin District, presided over the fourth session of the District C onvention at Macomb, November 4.
